Sarindar qualified as a barrister in England and began practising as a lawyer in Singapore over 15 years ago. He is the driving force behind Singh & Co. He specializes in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Insurance, and Arbitration.

He usually advises corporate and individual clients in respect of civil matters and is regularly instructed to advise companies as to any contentious matters that may arise from their day-to-day dealings and operations.

He has an array of experience in dealing with high value insurance claims against some of the leading insurers in Singapore. Having been interviewed by Singapore’s media in respect of the many issues that arise from dealing with insurance claims following road traffic accidents, he prides himself in providing authoritative and decisive advice in this particular area of law.

He has dealt with many high profile commercial and securities cases, which includes:

- Representing a US Fortune 200 company in an international arbitration against an Indonesian conglomerate in respect of a US$ 270 million dispute over export credit financing of coal and copper mines;

- Advising insurers on their potential exposure under a banker’s policy arising from multiple claims estimated at S$36 million against the insured bank due to the sale of structured products linked to Lehman Brothers;

- Represented a leading insurer in respect of a claim in the High Court for wrongful repudiation of liability under a contractors’ all risk policy in relation to a building project;

- Represented major European insurer in an arbitration involving a reinsurance dispute under a quota share treaty in relation to medical insurance; &

- Recently instructed to represent a leading entertainment company in respect of an arbitration pertaining to numerous breaches of contract worth approximately US $500,000.00.
